So Neverland premiered last night. Visually it's amazing. Neverland has gorgeous sets, with snow turning to woodlands that reminds me a little of Narnia. I kinda love how Neverland is an alternate world and not just a place to stumble upon.
When you first meet Peter it reminds me a lot of Oliver Twist. A group of street kids conning their way into rich old men's pockets in 1906 only to return to a caregiver where they all live in an old warehouse. Although Jimmy seems to care a lot more for these boys than Fagan ever did.
The acting isn't bad, the sets are beautiful, the story isn't bad but I just can't get into it. There isn't really any reason I can find but I just didn't seem to care whether I missed parts of the show or not. Which is weird because I like the story of Peter Pan and a prequel so you get to see where he came from is a promising and good story. Oh well. Depending on what time part 2 is on tonight I'll watch it.
In other news, the Eureka and Warehouse 13 Christmas episodes are on tomorrow!!!! I can't wait for new episodes from those two teams. The previews look awesome and especially with Warehouse I can't wait to hear the humor (Eddie!) Can't wait!!!!
